Fondest memory: Adama and Chaka from Burkina Faso, and the enchanting guitar/harp-like Goni. Their music is one of my best menories from Kokrobite.
I came out of the water after a swim, and was looking out at the ocean, and I could hear a beautiful melody of scattered notes coming from behind me, mixing with the sound of the waves in front. In my mind i was hoping it was someone playing an instrument and not the radio. I turned around and started looking for the source of the sound, and I found Shaka.
I sat with him until he finished, then we chatted. Adama joined, and the music started again.
That night we had a music jam on the beach to the light of the full moon and an oil lantern. They came with two other musicians and we sang and danced away...
