Sometimes we are lucky and could pound our own fufu at our kitchen behind the primary school.
Fufu with groundnutsoup is my favourite dish in Ghana.
Marian, a friend from Kpandu, who lived Germany for a few months, learned me how to make this dish in an European easy way. She didi it with potatoes (instead of plantain and cassave) and peanut butter and tomato-sauce (instead of the local groundnuts).
Anyway it's still a substitute.

In Nkonya Wuroping we did our own cooking.
We lived during summerholiday in the unused primary school.
At the backside in the shade was our kitchen.
We had our own supply, but sometimes a gratefull villager brought a chicken or something else.
