This fort really is a beauty!! It is well restored and after a guided tour you can hang around as long as you want, looking at the local youths playing football next to the fort, gazing at the ocean waiting for empty ships or looking at the birds and contemplating the past.

Q: How do I contact this hotel??? I can't find any other reference to it anywhere.
A: Where did you get the name in the first place? Sometimes budget hotels in guidebooks just dissapear. Does your original source have a telephone no.?

The town of Axim, in the West of Ghana, is not so much visited, which is a pity. It has a very nice fort, Fort San Antonio from where you have wonderful views. The atmosphere in town is very relaxing...

The Hotel is at a great location, but the service is rather bad. It's about 6 hours drive away from Accra, more in the Hotel evaluation.
