The trip to Nzulezo was a real highlight of my West African travels. You first must go to the Ghana Wildlife Society Visitor's Center, where you arrange a trip and guide(GH6/US$6). Take an extra paddle if you like to row...the guide will be grateful! You will board a canoe at a man made canal, which leads to the Amansuri Lagoon where the stilt villiage sits. Your guide, who most likely lives in the stilt villiage, will show you around the entire place. Some of the adults might give you a chilly reception, but the kids will be glad to see you. The entire trip will take about 3 or 4 hours. The canoe ride is enjoyable, and exploring the villiage is quite interesting...highly recommended.

Of course you will be spending time on the beach, and this one is really picturesque. Walk down the shore in the morning to check out the fishermen pulling in the catch.
