The best part about the area, is there are TONS of taxis! You can grab one right in front of the Hotel, or walk down to the main road (1 min walk) and pick one up cheaper! This area is a mecca for taxis because it is kind of in the middle between downtown and everywherer else!
From here to downtown, should not pay more than 5 GNF and to matam, about 7 GNF. Always go 2-3 thousand less than what they say at first! The difference is negligable, but they actually respect you more if you haggle!!!
Of course that is for a taxi on your own! If you feel like sharing, you may only have to spend about 1-2 thousand GNF, but it is very cramped... about 7 people to a car!
