In this area, if you don't live on the "route Niger" you are in for a long walk.
Even when you get there, most of the taxis are full, but all good things come to those who wait... and wait... and wait!
If you walk about 100 yards down to the Total station, you have a better chance and may see one on the way!

This is an ok area, but I have run into some people who will "bark" at you just for being white. Best advice is to just keep walking and even if you understand them, don't answer!

This is the area in Conakry that I live! It happens to also be that my job is right down the street. Biking to school is a treat... if you dont mind it being really really dirty and stinky! Garbage......
