Guinea Bissau in Western Africa has a tropical monsoon climate with a distinct (terrible!) hot and wet season from May to October and cooler dry season from November to April. Which is more marked in the northeastern highlands. The annual average temperature is between 26ºC - 27ºC degrees (believe me terribly hot!). The heaviest rainfall occurs along the coast and in the immediate hinterland averaging 3250mm per year. The dry season is characterized by dry dusty winds blowing down from the Sahara and lower humidity.What clothing I recommend you??? Well, please take: light to tropical weight year-round. Rainwear during the rainy season. Everything is lovely in this country!

I miss when I'm away from Guinea-Bissau their streets full of people selling food and the vegetation in all the country: so exuberant!!!!
One of the best things that have Guinea Bissau are: CHILDREN! This is a really young country. When I'm away from Guinea-Bissau I miss the beautiful smile of children. :-D
