We saw some awful driving on our trips in Kenya, many of which resulted in accidents. Most safari companies have very courteous drivers, but that cannot be said for all unfortunately. If you are driving yourself, do take care.

At night, flies and other insects ar attracted to the lights on the roof top terrace. Stay clear of the beam, otherwise you end up swallowing mouthfuls of the pesky things.
I have never seen so many flies in one light beam at any one time, I just soucln't believe it! You can see from the picture, they have become streaks, rather than individual insects!
