Banhof is located at the Malindi Highway, there where Mtwapa starting. It is overlooking "Causorina" club and you can't miss it, no matter if day or night time. In fact, if night time you can't miss it at all.
It is pretty wild sort of club offering kind of dissolutely fun, lots of beer and lots of hot local girls. To me it looks much alike to those biker clubs, very loud music and attenders who care to have good fun only. As far as I could noticed, there is lots of drug addicted people in this club.

There are number of such a bars all over the coastline, situated in between two villages or in the outskirts but sometimes even in the middle of nowhere. Great majority of the white tourists never visiting such a bars, not even if day-time. To my knowledge tourists don't attend such a places because of irrational fear, but mostly because of predjudices. But fact is, in such a bars one could spend exceptional times, welcomed by the friendly locals, sipping very cheap drinks, listening very good African music, enjoying in the perfect atmosphere and most probably having immemorable fun.
Kenyans do drink alot and most of the people there probably could be drunk but they aren't agressive and violent drunkers.

Causorina is wooden construction with the lots of greenery inside and epecially outside of the club, making the whole ambient more attractive and looking it kind of relaxing. It is situated close to Mtwapa Creek from where refreshing wind coming in the evenings.......

The dive guides told us, that with our booked 10 dives we should see one whale shark ... 90 per cent guarantee. We saw 5 whale sharks in 13 dives, that was a lot more than we could ever dream of!
