On Tiwi beach the fishermen catch the fresh fish on the reef every morning and come to the cottage with a large bagful to choose from. The barbecue is built every night by the houseboy and we ate the freshest salads and rice with it. The daily catch includes prawns, crabs, parrot fish, squids. WOW!

Tiwi Beach, Mombasa ....Heaven on Earth!
This is the most beautiful quiet beach on the Mombasa Coast. I have always wanted to go there and it was up to my expectations

I spent 3 nights at Tiwi Beach after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and doing a safari in Tanzania. I just needed a quiet place to sit and read for a few days before heading back to winter in Toronto.
