Angie's Cafe is located within the hustle and bustle of Meru Town, where all the offices and shops. They serve delicious local food such as chapatti, kienyeji or mokimo, which is usually mashed potatoes with beans/peas, carrots, tomatoes, onions. Other items: briyani(yellowish indian rice cooked with various spices) with Chicken, ugali(white steamed cake made with maize flour)... The local food appears to have quite a lot of Indian influence...

Its a simple cafe, nothing fancy, main patrons are the office workers.

Great value for money, one serving of Chicken and Masala with choice of chapatti/chips costs around US$ 2.

Favorite Dish: Chicken Masala- 2-3 pieces of chicken in a delicious spicy soup. Comes as a set with chips/chappati. If you decide to order chapatti, dip it in the soup, um mmmm!

Briyani rice, order without the chicken as this tends to be tough. The rice itself is very tasty. The soups and other sauces
