  • A word of advice - women - wear dresses. Both men and women- do not wear shorts, it is rude to show your knees in Kenya.

    Be willing to listen to something that is different. Be willing to try their food, be willing to accept their hospitality, and if they offer you their lower arm for a handshake (by putting their hand over their wrist), it just means that they like you, but just want to keep their hands clean (or not get yours dirty).

    This photo is of a small choir, with the women wearing colourful clothes, and the Ethiopian harp is a kiiraan (sp?), which is an interesting sounding instrument...
