Luggage and bags: Keep this under 20 kg. especially if you are travelling via convoy on the highway or by air with MAF

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: lightweight cotton, but bring a jacket for evenings - it can get cold at night

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: all the basics... include some yogurt pills (acidolophilus), don't drink the water. Bring your malaria pills, maybe a washboard, and a short wave radio would be helpful.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: There is some camping, but the lodge is better
