There are many stalls all over the place. One place I saw had a pink lace mosquito net! I would have bought it but it wasn't practical to bring back to Canada... even with West Nile virus...
What to buy: Local crafts... beaded crosses (in the Christian section in town), fruit, clothing, basic supplies
What to pay: Depends on how hard you bargain
