You can visit Masaai Market on a Tuesday and Village Market on Thursdays to buy souvenirs and presents for people at home. The choice is overwhelming and you will find it difficult to concentrate as sellers will constantly call you over to look at their wares.The prices are artifically high to start with and you must always bargain. You should really be paying about a quarter of what the starting price is, possibly less. Sellers will always try and be *confidential* about their price and show you on a calculator how much it will be. Unfortunately, while you are being distracted, your pockets may be picked.Also NEVER go to the ATM in Village Market with helpful people who will watch you punch in your PIN number then steal your card.
