Take Sun cream and also Insect repellant for safaris. Do not forget to take also warm clothes if you go to Nairobi since the weather is like in Europe at times.

Definitely backpack territory - I would advise a pack half the size of what you think you will need, then don't fill it!!!! Hiking Mosquito repellant by the litre!!!!
