This is a dingy little restaurant in a not-so-nice hotel, but it has the best beef curry I've ever eaten. It also has a vegetable sauce to dip fried chicken in that we actually have craved since we've been home in the U.S. The decor is not great, but it's typically Kenyan.
Favorite Dish: Beef or chicken curry!!!

The Elcove restaurant is a loverly place to eat. I went there for my 19th Birthday just after I arrived in Kenya. It is just opossite the New lincoln hotel. It serves chinese food. The restaurant is a large place all nicely set out. There is a good range of food on the menu.
When we went there where 24 of us eating anf where the only people in the restaurant so i would not bother about trying to book. When we arrived and sat down all the power went of so had a candle lit dinner which was very nice.
The food does take along time to come not sure if that was due to the electricity or not, but if you are hungrey would advise ordering quickly.
Other than that the service is good and so is the food.

Address: Opposite the New Lincoln hotel.
Wills is a very good restaurant to go to. If you have been ruffing it for a long time and walk past Wills you will get an impression of it being very posh but once inside its nice and relaxed.
It is on the main street running through Eldoret. It has a nice bar and sells loverly food. Ranging from pizza to burgers and pasta. It is resonably priced you are likely to for a hotdog, chips and drink you will pay ksh200 (£2.00)
Favorite Dish: The burgers are amazing and so are the hotdogs with ketchup and all the trimmings. The pasta is very good too. For those who actually like ugali you can have ugali and stew hear aswell.
