Do not venture out at Night

Do not venture out at night inside Elsamere camp and try to stay indoors, whether it is inside your room or the main dining hall.
The reason is quite a few animals stroll inside the camp after sundown and none of them are Pets.
A couple of security gurds patrol the camp at Night.

Common Animals which are visible include:
Giraffe
Zebras
Gazelle
Hippos and Rhinos.
A couple of times there has been reports of a Lion too.

Hells Gate in the heat

Fishers Tower, Hells Gate National Park

Hells Gate National Park is worth seeing. However, the reason I placed it here is the fact that I chose to do it on a bicycle in the unbearable heat of the day.... SOOOO HOT.

The National Park itself isnt that bad, it would be great with a vehicle. The park is situated 14 km after the turnoff from the old Nairobi-Naivasha highway and spans 68.25 km2 and features some amazing gorges and rock formations.

There was little game in the park though, making our expedition on bad tyred uncomfortable bicycles a real work out for little worthwhile goal it seemed.

Unique Suggestions: Do it on a cool day, and in a vehicle, not on a bicycle like I did.

Fun Alternatives: Aparently the Crater Lakes area is very very beautiful, I wish I had seen that, from what I heard it was much nicer and easier going... with a vehicle transporting you in to walk some of the area... and more abundance of wildlife on that particular day.
