girl at the local market

We stopped shortly with the car at the local market, it was some kind of traffic jam in front of us. I couldn't resist not to take the picture of this girl but then she noticed it and started shouting and calling up her father and friends. They were very unfriendly shouting at kswahili and the driver told me that they want to fight. So I stepped out of the car and the shouting stopped immediately, they probably didnt expect me to be so tall. I gave 100 bobs (shillings) to a girl and she was very satisfied with it, offering big smile at the end.

The equator is an imaginary line which runs around the belly of the earth. Crossing it takes on a ceremonial significance and every time we have done so on land, a photo stop has been called for. This was the first time of several.
