So me and a group of friends lake Nakuru National park, and as usual in the park guest houses you have to fetch firewood and prepare your own meal. so we go to the nearby Nakuru town and buy very fresh and soft meat, it was cheap. so we thot nice town. we cooked and ate, very tasty and soft meat, again it was cheap. So as we were touring the park we told our tour guide about the tasty soft cheap beef meat we bought from the market....you know what he said, "thats not Beef meat, that was either Zebra or Gazzele but mostly buffallo!!!!" thou it was tasty and soft its really annoying to eat something that's not what you thot it was.

Unique Suggestions: If visiting the park and you have prepare your food, if buying meat make ensure what you are buying is really what you want. Some local people from the sorrounding town hunt for game meat illegally and sneak it to the market. Just recently some game meat were freezed just when they were about to be sneaked to Nairobi butchers. this ussually happens when Beef meat becomes scarce. But hey its not bad to try something different

T-LOG on the way! At first funny, but after and
hour! HOLY-CRAP!!!!! Everywhere. We hoped for another group to come to camp so the
PRIMATES will bug and take from them.
Yes there was also another type of PRIMATE
around before we left! Just have to deal with it.
Let the KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE do their thing!

Unique Suggestions: Keep you tents double zipped! Don't leave your glasses or your cameras outside! They will take it, and drop it from a tree! DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS!!!!! THAT IS A MAJOR NO-NO!

Fun Alternatives: The lodges. But, I like the camping so. I have
to put up with it and wait!
