Nanyuki Nightlife

We spent a few very interesting hours in the Buccaneer in Nanyuki. We were the only white people in there, and were mostly girls. As soon as we showed up on the dancefloor the local male population closed in on us like sharks for the kill, and the two trackers that accompanied us were very busy trying to keep them at bay. The bar is actually behind bars throuh which the money and the drinks are passed, and when I went to the toilet and opened the cubicle door there was only a hole in the floor behind it. The music was very good, though, mostly from the 80s, and we had a great laugh that night.

You should definitely go and see the Buccaneer if you're in Nanyuki, it's an interesting experience, although one you probably will not repeat. And if you're female you should make sure you're going there with male company.
