Kibera Slum
If you are NOT a missionary or an NGO worker, you should UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES visit the Kibera slum. Crime is ripe in these areas and only people going with a local villager or another Kenyan can be assured of safety. Women should know that almost 70% of women in Kibera have been raped at one point or multiple points in their life.. this often includes young girls.
