As far as nightlife goes in...

As far as nightlife goes in Lesotho, there wasn't much. What volunteers (I was a member of the Peace Corps.) tended to do was to either go out to dinner at (both Boccacio's and Alberge were in the capital city, Maseru, though last I heard Boccacio's was burned down in a bit of civil unrest. It may have have been rebuilt since then, but I haven't heard anything about it.) Boccacio's--out favourite 'watering hole' or go to the movies at the Hotel Victoria. There was two other theatres besides the one at the Hotel Victoria, but I only went to the one at The Masueu Sun.The Basotho people (the country is Lesotho, the language is Sesotho.) and they are some of the most friendly people that I have ever met (though there were some volunteers who definitely didn't hold the Basotho people is such high esteem, for numerous reasons.), and to 'get in good' with them all you have to do is to try to...
