I have seen a lot of people who prefer horse riding especially in a village called jarjarumma. This kind of sport is well known in this area. horses used to be friends of Libyans, means of transportation and weapons.
Nowadays it's to see people of different ages enjoy riding their horses . The only experience I know well was with some friends who used donkeys for thier travel. It was amazing.

The only local airport is Alabrag . There are daily flights from Tripoli . However it's 230 km. from Benghazi. There are no direct flights from Benghazi.

getting to any of the main cities in this area is possible from/to Benghazi , ALmarj , Albaydha and Derna . From each city you may take another bus or taxi to reach the countryside.

A: If you mean 'Al Bayda' you certainly don't need a 4 x4 to get there - just an ordinary car to drive on an ordinary road...
