Invaluable advice
By and large, Libya is way off the radar as far as most travellers and tourists are concerned. Whilst visitor numbers are growing, in comparison to other North African countries such as Egypt and Morocco, the numbers are minuscule. Consequently, anyone thinking of visiting Libya will find there is not much information out there added to which there's a lot of mis-information. The Lonely Planet's most recent edition came out in 2007, the Footprints Guide dates back to 2000. Both are good on places to go and things to see but for some of the best and most up-to-date information and clear, succint explanations of some of the more puzzling aspects of Libya's tourist policies, I think the creator of the Temehu is to be really commended.
