To see the most famous mosaics - visit this place.
Fifty 0.5 sq meter mosaic panels, once located at the eastern church floor are now showed in this little museum. Different themes, symbols, portraits and animals. All panels are numbered. The most famous one is n°48 - the legendary Pharos lighthouse.

Site of a Byzantine fort and church (6th century AD). A floor of stunning mosaic panels discovered in 1957, the majority of which are now housed in the on-site museum.
The collection of mosaics is considered one of the world's finest depicting human and animal figures. One panel depicts the Pharos Lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the world.
