This is best place for Malagasy food. Mariette Andrianjaka ("Madame Mariette" for Malagasy) had this great idea of running a restaurant dedicated to Malagasy cuisine when most of quality-food restaurants were of French style (Madagascar was an ex- French colony). Up to now, this is the place to go for Top- quality Malagasy cuisine.When she opened this "table d'hôtes" decades ago, Malagasy cuisine hadn't had any "VRP" as the only quality restaurants were of French-style cuisine.Of course, pricing is not the same as those "hotely gasy". Most expensive pricing as for Malagasy restaurant. Reservations necessary.I rated it as most expensive in Malagsy cuisine compared to other Malagasy cuisine restaurants.
