no restrictions on luggage unless you are going for other reasons its hot most of the times,casual summer wear its the best and swimming costumes but at night its cool with the breeeze from the lake you still need a warm jacket and some clothings to cover yourself (to avoid being bitten by insects) Do take your own medical supplies ,there are lots of insects and it is advisable to take a malaria dose before you go an adventure.private and public clinics and government hospitals are available take your own equipment most people are poor they dont have photo equipment bring your own gear there no speacialised shops for camping,beach and out door gear most of the basic things like toiletries,food you can buy them at mangochi district town council,but if you want ot cater for yourself bring enough utensils,cooler bag,torch ,repellents,insectsides,small radio etc
