Getting Around Salima District

The bus I took from Cape Maclear to Lilongwe made a 30 minutes stop at Salima bus station to fill up the bus with passengers. It was quite hectic at the bus station with street traders and passengers.
The city has little to offer for tourists, and according to what I saw from the bus window I didn't miss anything by just driving past the dusty town. But the town is an intersection on the roads between Lilongwe and Lake Malawi. Salima has a population of 50,000 people.
