Golfing in Zomba
Zomba golf course was open to the public when I was there in 1990. Two of us rented clubs and had caddies. There were constantly people walking across the course, but the pro told us play through. He said they knew when to get out of the way. The greens were also also not green, but consisted of a fine grain sand. The early morning dew made the sand adhere to the ball making putting very difficult. Still it was a unique, scenic, and enjoyable place to go golfing.
