Another close view of a dead fishing vessel. I cant imagine the great polluction impact this may cause. Either the way I notice that already many birds and fishes use the boats as refugee and place to hide or rest.
I was very surprised to find these people on my walk on the beach. Besides some old boats this area have maybe half dozen little houses belonging to local fishermen.
Many birds (thrushes, pigeons, swallows and nightingales) pass through Mauritania on their migration route from Europe to Africa. Mauritania is a bird watcher's paradise: starlings, weaver birds, pelicans, cormorants, herons, terns and ducks are among the birds which can be seen. A variety species of birds can be found also in the Banc d'Arguin National Park. This all area of The Cab Blanc and Cansado is also full of birds variety.
The beach here on the picture lookds very nice. But somehow I managed to take all the garbage of the pic area. This area has tons of garbage that comes from the sea. Boats throw the garbage directly to the sea.
This old ship has been here for a long time. As I walked on this beach I took my shirt out to get some color. I walked the all Cansado Bay unitl the ville of Nouadhibou. That probably 10 km.
Temperatures here in Mauritania are always a bit high. ALthough I got a rainy day.
