Its incredible of how many different rock formation you can see on your way to Chinguetti. You can see all in term of mountains, from black mountains to big hills, or this ones here. very strange ones but very beautifull indeed.

thses landscape is very unusual. You can see the black mountains along with some blue rocks and some vegetation. Amazing palette of colours. very special. This should be one of the most beautiful rock formations with surrounding landscapes in the whole region of Adrar.

View of the cliffs comming from Chinguetti to Atar. the road is 100km separating both towns. the weather this day was incredible and the sky had beautiful colour giving it the special combination along the mountains...

This is the part of the road that has huge mountains going to Chinguetti. this part is in fact already comming from Chinguetti not going.
You have this huge canyons with tight road. Oh yes about the road, this one seemed to be not in very good shape but all the 100km from Atar road is now very good. only a small part has asfalt but is very good.
