I've showed you the big brown rock formations, these are other kinds of them that you'll also find on the way to Terjit. I just love the way sand get to the tops of the rocks. An unusual scenery everywhere else where you have big mountains of rock. Sand is usually missing so here you have both. In this part of the road you also have lots of vegetation and for this you'll be able to see lots of big lizards and small insects.

Here you have a picture of the hot spring in Terjit. You have a pipe that gets the water from the upper pool and makes a kind of small waterfall (comming from a pipe hehe) with wamr water. Very nice indeed. Water is running 24hours a day, non stop so it is very clean.

Here in the region people are nomads. Since the last times that a big portion of people actually settelt in fixed houses, many still remain traveling place to place in order to feed their animals, in this case some goats and dromadaries. Goats to give the milk and dromadaries to transportation and for the meat also. Nomads travel kms and kms until they reach their spot to settle for a few months.

Isnt this the perfect combination? I always wated to see such landscape which I only thought existed in South Algeria, but since South Mauritania is not that far here I have it. Amazing. And I didnt knew about it so it was a nice suprise. I like to be surprised by landscpaes when I travel. Thos rock formation have hundreds of metres. You can see its greatness by looking to those palm trees below them. The sand elevates itself hundreds of metres high to get to the top of the rocks. Just beautiful. A must!

In Terjit you have hundreds of palm trees together making a very nice shadow for you to relax. This road to the oasis is very worth seeing if you go to the region of the Adrar.
