Favorite thing: I remembered when I was at Grand Baie heading towards Cap Malheureux, the weather was rainy and I thought it would be a bad day. However, the skies gradually changed and when we reached Cap Malheureux, the weather was sunny and good for photography. I was very lucky indeed :)
Favorite thing: In the lagoons, are sometimes inoffensive babies sharks, the large ones are behind the barrier reefs. Some poisonous fishes live also the places: the stonefish, which merge with the rocky depths, and the scorpionfish, brown-red, which moves slowly by deploying broad poisoned fins.

La plage publique
Favorite thing: The Cap Malheureux. In the coral reef live the octopuses, the morays, the red mullets and shellfishes. The Mauritian lagoon was impoverished in shells, and it is today forbidden to collect an alive shell.

Coin de Mire
Favorite thing: The Coin de Mire island is located off the Cap Malheureux. Mauritius is a hot island, whose temperature is softened by the sea and the trade wind of south-east. It is also subjected to a microclimate, the East coast fresher and sprinkled, the West coast hotter and wet.
Favorite thing: Near the chapel of the Cap malheureux took place the unloading, November 6, 1810, of the English task force which, four months after the defeat of Grand Port, ensured England the conquest of the island.
Favorite thing: I particularly enjoyed the nice photos taken at Cap Malheureux thanks to the very good weather and sunlight.
