This is the large shopping-centre directely at the portside of Port Blair, in the corner of the port that is too small for the large cruiseships, but all the small ferryboats will take you there.
What to buy: They have cafes, garden-restaurants and shops of all sorts there, the shops will mostly have aircondition as well.
What to pay: Prices will be pretty much the same all over Port Blair.

A modern shopping/eating/sightseeing venue/
TIP: This is a good place to park your car in a secure area and then walk over to explore downtown Port Louis. There is a tunnel which allows you to cross the very busy main highway and the downtown district is just a few blocks away.

What to buy: Behind the restaurants and other limp of nights, one sees the mountain "des Signaux", named thus because found itself once of it the watchtower assigned to announce the arrival of the boats (of which La Malle Française - the French Trunk - the maritime carrying trade ship).
Tradition preserved, since the summit of this mountain is filled of the antennas of communications of the telephone company, and of facilities of radars.
