This theatre dates back to the year 1822 and at that time it used to be the first theatre in the southern hemisphere. Take a look through the windows tio see some of its interior like I did.

Chinese quarter has plenty of little restaurants and food stalls on the street corners. It’s probably the most colourful part of the city with its ayurvedic remedy shops and spice sellers.

Lots to buy!! near immigration bus stand, lots stalls along roads between immigration and victoria bus stands. Also lots of shops at waterfront.
