Fondest memory: The temples Tamils are colored very (contrary to the Hindu, very temperate, and white temples). They are decorated of a multitude of sculptures and are painted of brilliant and quick colors.
The tamil's traditions religious are very impressive, that it was about the marches on fire, or of the Cavadee (to see the Travelogue)

Fondest memory: Every day, it is in the small hours, the Muezzin's call that acted me as wakening. The days of cyclone where I didn't hear it ago. He rhythmizes the days, every morning and every evening thus.

Fondest memory: Two of the churches of Rose-Hill cope themselves, on all sides of the Royal Road, in direction of Port-Louis. If you are attentive, you will notice that the mauriciens, very religious, signs themselves before a church, whatever is their confession or their belief.
The church Notre Dame de Lourdes is the one where is celebrated the marriages (in any case, it is the only one where I saw to celebrate in Rose-Hill of it).

Fondest memory: The Place du Cardinal Margeot is in full center of Rose-Hill, the living and teeming heart of the city. It is on this place that you will find the Post office, but also the taxicabs, and the road station.
Toward 15 hours, to the exit of the colleges, it is a real human tide that arrives here, of all parts. Close to this place you will find the bazaar, the shopping malls, the main street (Royal Road)...

Rose Hill - maison kreol

Favorite thing: It remains beautiful Creole houses little, because the wood that served to their construction asks for a constant interview. This kind of construction necessity therefore of thick financial means.

Fondest memory: It is in the bourgeois districts of Rose Hill that one can admire the biggest number of Creole houses again in a remarkable state.
