You won't believe it, but in the very tiny village there is a modern internet cafe with high speed computers!
We had to wait here a couple of hours, and decided to updat our weblog about our morocco holiday.
These computers were high speed and well equiped. And we didn't had to pay much.
It's very important to check the weather before you visit that part of Morocco, athough, if you go in summer, you can bet it will be very very hot.
Check these sites for Er Rachidia, which is very close to Merzouga:
How to convert Farenheit into Celsius? Deduct 32, multiply by 5 and divide by 9. For example: How much is 76 Farenheit?
- 77 minus 32 = 45
- 45 by 5 = 225
- 225 divided by 9 = 25 Celsius
Favorite thing: The highlight of Merzouga is Erg Chebbi where there are many miles of beautiful Saharan Dunes. The Dunes stretch for 27 km into Algeria and though they pale in comparison to some of the bigger dune seas in other parts of the Sahara they are still very impressive. I think the most striking thing was the beautiful colours on the dunes. The best time to see these is at sunrise or sunset as the colours change quickly though at any time through the day it's an impressive sight.

Favorite thing: The Erg Chebbi, the name of these sand dunes, is said to have some of the highest dunes in Morocco. Indeed, the dunes and the desert wildlife are impressive. Merzouga is an excellent base from which to explore the desert and bird-watchers will be enthralled with what they see. In spring, a lake forms near Merzouga which attracts pink flamingos. Other rare birds stop here during spring migration. The desert is also the year round environment for many desert reptiles and mammals.
