About 15-20 minutes south of Tamtetouche is the much visited and very scenic Todra Gorges - if youve come by conventional vehicle with conventional driver you would have come up that way from the main access road of the Dades Valley road (the main road that runs from Marrakech eastward to Tinerhr, Boulmane and Er Rachidia).
If youre intrepid with a conventional vehicle or have a 4x4 you might have arrived at Tamtetoucht from the scenic backroads from Imilchil or from the definitely four-wheel drive rough road around from Msemrir and the Dades Gorges headed for Todra Gorge.
This is a pretty and peaceful area to stay in though and Ive stayed and visited Tamtetouche twice but Todra Gorge 3 times

there's nothing much to see here at Tamtettoucht. Only locals are worth spending some time with.
its a wonderful place to realx if you want to forget that civilization actually exists.
you can prepare some trips to the salt mines and to the waterfalls.
great place to make climbing.

you have to see this place. Actually if you go to Tamtettoucht from the South you have to pass it so...

this village is really hiden. its hard to find. now that has a new road is much easier. before only 4x4 car could pass. of course i went there in bad road and river passages with my opel corsa...he!
