During my short 4 hour stay, I had two sea food meals in lcoal restaurants. The fried fish fillet was only DH9 and the fried shrimps and fish were DH20. Instead of gooding to fancy restauranrs, good out for local restaurants.

dark woods, soft leather, beautiful moroccan and african art, excellent food and wine - live the fantasy and have dinner here. Stop by for an evening cocktail but dress smartly. The rooms are gorgeous but very expensive.

Is not a restaurant is a Beer- local- drinking place but were to pout it if not in restaurant tips… Not in night life tips because it close early.
A lot of different events just in front of you- at the beach- from live music, sea sports even football… (local).

La cantina and Ave sidi Med
ben Abdellah

Walking up all the busy, noisy, Ave sidi Med ben Abdellah -at the very end become very narrow- you are at a very quiet little square and you finally get a feeling of the locals life (see photos). Relax and observe but do not let your food- is delicious- to be cold...
No Alcohol (normal in Morocco…). But they will tell you were to go for a Beer.
It was recommended to me by VTer “windcity”. See her tip for more details about the place and the menu.

The staff at our Riad recommended Samarkand. We went with their reco. It was well worth it. The place had a great ambiance.... Some what Kitch but lovely. A good wine selection and good food. Its a bit fine dining, not my scene but I still loved it.

Creme de Langoust id to die for.

Taros

Taros has both a terrace restaurant and an indoor restaurant. Both are excellent. The sardines escabechee, the oysters, the fish, the seafood salads - all well prepared. Have lunch on the terrace and if too chilly for dinner, eat inside.
