Thanks so much to the guys at Dunes d'or Restaurant and Houssine who was escorting me down from Ksar Riad Malal just north of Zagora and showing me just what the Sahara south of Zagora ie Chigaga had to offer! especially in comparison to the Merzouga Sahara i am very familiar with.
The brochettes were excellent - our plates certainly looked bright! -the meat was lovely and tender - without any redness which i sometimes worry about for the risk of 'bugs' in our digestive tract, nor overcooked - perfect really!
a simple light lunch to keep us going without loading us down in the increasing heat.
