Generally you can't find a lot of supermarkets in Morocco. The most common thing is that there are a lot of tiny shops which sell a bit of everything.
Especially alcohol is hard to buy, as Morocco is a muslim land. This supermarket has a big range of western styled goods and foods. Even a can of Heineken beer is available. But before you go wild in this shopping paradise, please check the prices......it's very expensive!

What to buy: This is the only shop in Ouarzazate that you can buy alcohol, like a can of beer.

What to pay: Too expensive!

Complexe artisanal: very beautiful rugs

the shop

This artisan completx is located opposite the casbah de taourirt and it is spread aver two large buildings, which sell a bit of everything that the region has to offer. Salespeople here are very much less aggressivethan in the casbah - and their products are of better quality. The prices are somewhat higher.

What to buy: Plenty of nice jewels to choose from, as well as clothes, ceramics, rugs, carpets.

Carpets

These carpets are an elaborate conjugation of the traditional Berber geometrical patterns. Weaving holds a considerable place in Morocco. Not a village which does not have its loom, not a bazaar downtown which does not propose a stock of covers, fabrics or carpet to you.

What to pay: Don't forget to BARGAIN!!!
