otherwise there are regular local buses that leave throughout the day from Chefchouen to Fes, dont usually need to buy tickets very far in advance. just get to the departure point earlier. timetable board at the departure point. spend a couple or a few days in chefchouen and you can get you info ahead of time while you are there.

Once you arrive at the port in Tangier, if you walk towards the town - once you pass the city gate, on your right hand-side on the corner you will see the CTM office. There are 2 buses that head for Chaouen - one of them is 12:15pm - I believe the other one is around 3:00pm.
It cost 40DH in Oct 07 plus 5 DH for each piece of luggage which you must "check-in" with the appropriate tags
