Buses run all the time from and to Agadir, and to many other cities, like: Tiznit, Marrakech, Essaouira, Ouarzazat, Laayoune, Zagoura, Safi, El Jadida, Casablanca and Rabat. Taxis are available all the time too, they are a little bit more expensive than buses, but faster. Buses are comfortable, and the prices are reasonable( a trip from Casablanca to Taroudant for example: max price is 130Dhs=14$). There is commitment to schedules, and safety on the road is always the top priority.
To get to towns and villages near/outside Taroudant, then you need to get a taxi, a mini bus or a vehicule like a van(up to 12 passengers). If you do not like public transportation, and you can drive, then rent a car, and drive whereever you want. Contact the "Mastouri Car" agency to rent a car.(Near Hotel Tiout).
