    Marbella: A good seafood restaurant

by nejma Written Mar 13, 2006

This is a nice seafood restaurant. The seafood is always fresh and you chose it yourself before the chef starts to cook. It's a typical Moroccan restaurant and many families go here. it's a bit expensive but very well worth the price.

Favorite Dish: Calamares! And I love the shrimps.

    Getting around from Martil

by nejma Written Oct 18, 2006

There are 2 ways to get to Martil from Tetuán - either by local bus or grand taxi (the blue taxis).

The bus that goes to Martil (belongs to the company AMA) stops at Chellah (just about in front of the CTM and the taxi stop to Ceuta) and then at Hamama (The White Dove) before it goes back to Martil. The ticket costs 3, 50 DH (October 2006) and the bus stops several times on its way to Martil. This is a great way to get a glimps of peoples everyday life. The bus takes anything between 20 minutes to 1 hour. There is a bus about every 10 minutes, no fixed schedule.

The taxi stop for grand taxis to Martil is close to Chellah. The price is 5 DH daytime and 6 DH at night. The taxi gets you to Martil in about 15 - 20 minutes, depending on how many times it stops on the way. The taxi leaves the stop as soon as it's full (4 people in the back, 2 in front seat and the chofer).

You can also go to Rincón/M'diq from Martil. The bus stops on Calle Miramar, more or less in the same place as the taxis. The bus costs 3 DH and the taxi 5 DH.m
