Favorite thing: I wouldnt travel independently to or around Morocco without at least one good guide book - Id recommend the latest edition of the Footprints guide or the Lonely Planet - and Id have thought youd be reading it by now - but there is 2 months yet - if you get one of these and have a read they will have a selection of accommodation with info for you along with phone numbers etc and you can have a choose from there along with whats here on whatever has been put in by individual VTers into their Travel page tips - see under Travel Guide for the location and you will be given a least of travel pages that are available - along with a rating system to acknowledge anything thats been helpful or not!

As in other places of the former Western Spanish Africa the most important buildings were militar ones. In the former territory of Ifni as in the Western Sahara you can find a lot of fortresses, headquarters and other militar buildings.
