The empty bar at the Bellevue

Bars and restaurants mentioned in other sections are good places to hang out in the evenings. The restaurants at Cafe Nomad and Hotel Suerte Loca are often at their best later in the evenings (after 8pm) - candlelight, good music, good company, good food. The bar at the Hotel Bellevue is worth a try, although the one at Hotel Ait Baamrane is cheaper and used more by the locals and has a bit more character. The row of cafes on Avenue Hassan II is also a bit livelier at night.

Night market

Sidi Ifni is not a very lively town. However at night-time people do come alive a bit and parts of the town become a bit more vibrant, particularly around the southern end of Avenue Mohammed V and the old airstrip. Food stalls are set up, football matches are turned on the tea shop TVs, and there’s a night market selling clothes and music. There's a good atmosphere and plenty of people to hang out with.
