  • The High Atlas mountains provide some of the most impressive mountain walking anywhere. You can do half-hour walks to 3-10+ days trek to the High Atlas mountains.

For hiking Mt Toubkal - the highest peak in the country- start from Imlil.

To visit Berber villages try Tafrout as a base.

For Camel trekking, it can be arranged at the hotels in the desert area or tourist offices. Best time is Sep-Oct.

This sport activity consists on getting a bicyle and ride it in the desert tracks of Sahara. If you get one of this ones I got from local friends, brakes dont really exist, dont speed too much then...
You can ride the bicycle all the way of the dunes of Erg Chebbi in a total (circle trip) of 20km. You pas many hotels, 2 lakes, one with flamingoes and 3 villages (one of them is Merzouga).

Bicycle. Water. Money if you have problems.

There are many sports acrivities available in Morocco, hiking and surfing are the more popular for tourists.
As my vacation was not that long, I just experinced a camel riding in the desert, the scenery was just breathtaking and for someone who only rode a bycicle untill that moment, the camel riding required some effort.

A blanket and a very light legguage.

High Round Kick with body in low position. You just have to deep your feet into the sand not to fall as sand dont give you body balance. Turn your body down (begin moving your head first) and lift your leg the higher you can. Kick hard. After the kick lift your body (start again with your head as lifting point) up. Enjoy the view of Sahara. haha

    You in nice shape...

Normal jump. just run, run and run towards the end of the dune and lift your bodey as high as you can. JUMP JUMP JUMP!
Try not to fall on top of the dune but many metres above the top, as you can actually jump at least 4 up to 5 metres... Dont hurt yourself...cos when you hit the ground it will be tough...

you in good shape and feeling a bit crazy...

    Serpent movement in the Sahara.
Run at least 3 metres, jump as high as you can put your body towards lift your legs and give the cobra strike full power. On nice tip is to lift your waist as high as you can, body will follow. One of the hands protecting the head.

Side kick on top of a dune. You can run a few meters just to have enough strenght to jump. Take in consideration that sand takes your impulsion away, when you make your feet up, the power you would get from the floor just deeps itself into the sand, so you loose boost.
You can choose kicking in direction not of the line your walking (top of dune) but side of it where is deep and take advantage of the high to kick hard!

Try to flip yourself over the top of a dune. becareful cos your feet will deep into the sand. One of the nice things if you fall, is that you'll just fall a couple of meters in the soft orange sand of Erg Chebbi
