Mohammed V Airport is the largest airport in Morocco and very crowded and noisy, with signs only in Arabic and French.
It's located about 30km south of Casablanca, so if your accommodation provided free transport to/from the airport, then its a good idea to use it!
Getting to/from Casablanca:-
Car - there is short and long term parking, numerous rental car companies
Rail - trains operate from Arrivals to Casablanca port and the city centre (takes about 50 minutes)
Taxi - grand taxis from outside Arrivals cost around 200MAD to the city
Bus - there is a bus service to Casablanca from Arrivals
Airport Facilities:-
ATMs, post office, banks with bureau de change facility, pay telephones, restaurants, cafés, various duty-free shops, pharmacy, and first aid facilities available.

Gold star to AF.
In the middle of the worst December weather Scotland & France had seen for years, flights were being cancelled and delayed all over. I expected the worst as I headed for Edinburgh Airport at 6.30am with the temperature at -3c and lots of snow on the car.
They got me all the way to Casa right on time! Both flights!
Plus, on the Paris - Casa flight the meal was a great 4 course lunch. Smoked salmon salad, then poached salmon, cheese and dessert. It's a long time since I've had such a good feed on a plane. Maybe because it's intercontinental?

Aw gee!
Air France got me all the way from Edinburgh (via Paris) on time, in style & comfort, in the middle of the worst December weather Scotland and France had seen in many years. Cancellations & delays all over - but not AF.
Even got through passport control double quick, with a smile and a nod.
Then had to wait a full hour for my bag!
The airport was not busy - it probably did coincide with the 5.30ish call to prayer however. The only explanation I can think of.
Of course the airport is where most people get their first impressions of a city - shame.

Casablanca Airport is called Mohammed V and it is Morocco’s main airport for its size and volume of traffic. Many international flights arrive in Casablanca and transit to other cities, it is also the hub of the country’s airline – Royal Air Maroc. The airport is around 30kms south of the CBD. Trains and buses run from the airport to the main train station.

I flew to Casablanca from Paris (CDG) with Air France.
For domestic connection flights, I used Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
Both airlines have good websites on which I could do all the bookings.
Airport: Mohammed V International Airport = old and chaotic?

Casablanca's international airport is a reputable well-functioning airport. More so recently after it has opened its newly-expanded modern terminal to accommodate an ever-expanding foreign traffic. So, as far as your immediate concern goes about your 20-year old's safety, you ought to just push aside your nervousness about things contrary to what you might have heard or read - which are usually very biased and inaccurate reporting in Western press about Morocco - and rest assured your child will soon be home with you and very likely with the luggage intact.

There are basically two types of cabs available here in Casablanca i.e. the 'petit taxi', which is VERY cheap and takes a maximum of three people.
These cabs have a bright, distinctive color for each town: (a) Red in Casablanca and (b) Blue in Rabat etc.
They only drive in town and do not cover longer journeys. If you are taking one of these cabs, please DO settle the price FIRST before boarding if they have no meter.
The 'grand taxi' is white and will take a maximum of six people. These will take you to the outer suburbs and even to the other parts of town. Please, PLEASE fix the price FIRST before beginning your journey.

We flew Air Maroc from Paris and again with Air Maroc to Malaga.
I have no complaints what so ever. The staff were kind and friendy and food and drink were included in the price.

CTM have 10 buses departing for Agadir.
Journey time is 9 hours.
Tickets are around 160 dirhams plus 5 dirhams for luggage.
Please use this as a rough guide only.
The bus station in Casablanca is the headquarters for the company with destinations all over the country. There is also a very nice cafe next door.

I had a difficult time on arrival - see other transport tips. I'd planned on taking the train into the city expecting my 6pm ish arrival would be during the rush hour.
Turned out it was 7pm by the time I was out of the airport - definitely rush hour. Anyway, I was too tired and grumpy to face the train, so I jumped in the first grand taxi I saw. Cost 300DH to my hotel - Novotel right by the docks.
Being Morocco, within 5 minutes I was the driver's bosom buddy...to the point where I was half expecting the invitation to his home for tea (and perhaps to inspect his daughters). Great guy - would have driven me everywhere I was going for a whole week - all "cheap price".
Maybe I should pretend I don't speak French, or English...
