If you are a tourist, they will seek you out, follow you and try to be your guide or cut you a deal. I never knew I had so many friends!
The medina is worth an afternoon of wandering if you can handle tight spaces, crowds and saying "no" a lot.
Have fun looking and browsing, but beware and try not to respond to any offers. If you ever say anything, or sometimes even make eye contact, the "guide" will follow you relentlessly.
The Rabat Medina is very clean and easy compared to this one. The Fez and Marrakesh ones are more interesting, but touristy.
Shop in Habous. Or try another Medina in another city for the Median experience (it is worth it!) Leave a Comment

Not so old, expensive and all kind of *guides* around you! Beware of your belongings!
If you want to buy moroccoan artcraft go to *QUARTIER HABOUS*!
